Itinerary

Upon arrival at the Colombo Bandaranayake International Airport, you will be received warmly by our representative.
After you arrive at the airport in Sri Lanka, a representative of our company will bring you to Bentota area.
On that day, you will be given a short tour of Bentota city, where you will have the opportunity to visit handcrafts, batik designs, and a gem museum.
Overnight stay at Bentota

After breakfast leave for sightseeing in Bentara town. There you will find a beautiful beach that stretches for a distance of 5 miles and you can enjoy water sports in the Bentota river and a boat ride in the Madhu river located in Balapitiya. After that, a turtle conservation center in Ahungalla area near Bentara town.
Overnight stay at Bentota

After a delicious breakfast, proceed to Colombo. Colombo is the largest city and commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Located on the west coast, it is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern and colonial impressions. Colombo has wildly varying architecture that span centuries and depict various styles. Many colonial buildings influenced by the Portuguese, Dutch and British exist alongside structures built in Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Indian and Contemporary architectural styles. No other place is this more evident in the heart of the city the Fort area. Colombo also boasts many shopping malls and department stores that offer brand name clothing at highly discounted prices. Therefore, it has become an important shopping destination among tourists.
City Tour: While on your city tour in Colombo you may visit famous places including Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park, National Museum, Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square, and prominent Buddhist, Hindu, Islam and Christian places of worship. Kelaniya Temple. After King Ravana's death, Vibeeshana was coroneted as King of Lanka by Lakshmana at Kelaniya. There are murals enshrined outside the Buddhist temple depicting the crowning of Vibeeshana.(Entrance fees to sites not included).
Overnight stay at Colombo

After breakfast check out of the hotel. Day free for shopping you may visit Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, Majestic City, Noritake, etc. Later we head to the airport for flight to your next destination.

Local Sim Card. You’ll need a passport and your hotel registration to buy a SIM card.
Time Zone. Indian Standard Time is same as Sri Lanka
Plug and Socket. For Sri Lanka there are two associated plug types, types D and G. Plug type D is the plug which has three round pins in a triangular pattern and plug type G is the plug which has three rectangular pins in a triangular pattern. Sri Lanka operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz.
Currency. The Sri Lankan Rupee is the currency of Sri Lanka currently INR 26 = LKR 100
Climate. Sri Lanka has two main seasons, the Maha season associated with the northeast monsoon (September – March) and the Yala season associated with the southwest monsoon (May – August) with an average temperature of around 27 - 28°C. Best time to visit is from October to March when the weather conditions are temprate with light breeze.
Clothing. Should be light with beachwear, hats and caps.
Footwear. Comfortable slippers or sandals for relaxing and walking shoes for walking tours and optional walks.
Luggage. One main piece of baggage of around 20kgs and a daypack for personal items. Remember that you may have to carry your own luggage so don’t overload yourself.
Tipping. Tipping isn’t compulsory. You may however, want to recognize the work of a guide or driver that has done a great job. We would recommend $3 to $5 per person per day depending on the size of the group and accompanying staff.
Visa and Passport Control. Currently Sri Lanka has made Visa on Arrival for all Indian Nationals.
